You recognise the Paris by its hem. The leather is neither stretched nor glued. It is raw-cut, laid over the frame and left to fall in soft waves that nearly brush the floor, like the hem of a made-to-measure dress.
The headboard is where you spend your waking time in bed, reading or watching TV. So it is filled with washed, sterilised goose down with foam inserts, over a spring-steel frame with elastic straps. Lean back and it gives just enough.
The leather cover on frame and headboard is removable, for cleaning or for a change of colour over the years. The back of the headboard is finished in leather too, so the bed can stand in the middle of the room. Frame and headboard can be in different leathers or colours.
A wooden slatted base is included in the price, but if you already have one you can use your own. Sizes run from the 90 × 200 cm single to the 200 × 200 cm double, plus US Queen, King and California King.
