The Living Divani Kasbah outdoor sofa was born in 2021 from a specific brief. David Lopez Quincoces was working on a residence for a client in Morocco who wanted a very large sofa, reconfigurable in many ways, with wood as the main material you touch. That private commission became the collection Living Divani now produces. The name points back to it: a kasbah is the walled citadel of North African cities, all low volumes and courtyards.
Solid teak and regenerated plastic
The frame is solid Burma teak from certified plantations, treated with a water-repellent oil. Black milled HPL seat panels rest on top. Corner joints and central supports are molded in recycled, regenerated polyamide, a choice the designer made to cut environmental impact. Cushions are covered in outdoor fabrics, fully removable with zips and Velcro.
How to plan your Living Divani Kasbah outdoor sofa
There are three elements: end unit, pouf and corner, combined in any order. The cushions turn in every direction, and a bolster works as an armrest or a headrest. So the same platform goes from sofa to chaise to daybed in one afternoon. A long run along the terrace railing, a corner around a coffee table, an island by the pool: you set the plan.
Our advice
Before you pick modules, measure the space and think about how you'll actually use it. Dinners with friends need more seating; lounging by the pool needs more depth. Send us the dimensions and a photo, and our architects will draw the layout. At our showroom in Messina, Italy, we can show you the teak and outdoor fabrics. We send a tailored quote fast. And if another authorized Living Divani dealer has quoted you for the same Kasbah layout, we'll match it or beat it.
