Cattelan Italia: Tables and Contemporary Design since 1979
Cattelan Italia was founded in 1979 by Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan in Carrè, in the province of Vicenza. It began as a small family business making dining tables and chairs, and tables are still the heart of the brand.
Over the years the collection has grown to include chairs, beds, bookcases, sideboards, mirrors, lamps and media units. The company is now led by their son Paolo Cattelan, who continues the family tradition of working with Italian designers.
Cattelan Italia is known for combining metal bases with tops in ceramic, glass and wood: a contemporary language that suits both homes and contract projects.

Designed in 2014 and still one of the most popular Cattelan tables: a sculptural base of interlocking geometric elements with a ceramic top, in rectangular and shaped versions.

03 — Materials & customisation
Bases, Tops and Finishes
Most Cattelan Italia tables are configurable: size and shape of the top, top material (glass, ceramic, wood) and base finish. Bases are available in embossed lacquered steel in titanium, graphite, white or black, in brushed finishes, or in the transparent varnished OP0 finish.
OP0 is a clear varnish on raw steel: each base is hand-finished and shows natural shading and small marks that make it unique, not defective. Ceramic tops are lighter than marble, resistant and water-repellent, suitable for intensive daily use.

Our technical team supports you from concept to installation: layouts, shop drawings and submissions, project coordination, a single consolidated shipment for several brands and installation on site.
06 — How to buy
How to Buy Cattelan Italia from Abroad
Step 1 — Tell us about your project
Send us the models you like, your room measurements and your preferred finishes, or ask our team for advice. For modular and made-to-measure pieces we prepare a layout drawing.
Step 2 — Receive a personalised quote
We send a detailed quote with configuration, finishes, production time and shipping to your country, with the delivery terms you prefer: EXW, DAP, DDP or white-glove.
Step 3 — Confirm with a 40% deposit
The order is confirmed with a 40% deposit, negotiable for larger projects. The balance is due before shipment. We accept all major credit cards, including American Express.
Step 4 — Production and updates
We follow production with the manufacturer and, on request, send you photos and details of the goods before loading.
Step 5 — Delivery and installation
Insured delivery to your address, or white-glove service with installation. We apply no mark-up on transport costs.
