The Living Divani Moon coffee table started life in 2014 as a bedside table by Mist-o, the Italian-Japanese studio of Noa Ikeuchi and Tommaso Nani, based in Tokyo and Milan. In 2021 Living Divani revisited it and grew it into a small family, shown at Milan Design Week and then at the London Design Festival. The idea stayed the same: a pure shape in curved wood that opens like a chest to reveal storage. The cylinder runs through every model.
Three versions of the Living Divani Moon coffee table
Full Moon is the lowest and widest. Its top lifts on a hinge, and a swiveling, removable insert organizes a large hidden compartment on several levels. Moon Eclipse is a double volume: a low cylinder that serves as the table, plus a «satellite» container that opens on one side, with an insert designed for bottles and glasses. Think of it as a small bar next to the sofa. Moon Satellite is taller and sits on casters, with a lower compartment for books and magazines and an upper one for small things. Use it as a nightstand, a side table or a rolling unit by the desk.
Oak and pure geometry
The wood is oak, natural or charcoal-stained, with a fine grain you notice up close. The shapes are basic circles and cylinders, with no handles and no corners. That's why Moon works next to a soft, rounded sofa like the Living Divani Extrasoft as well as in a stricter living room.
